Description
A short notice about how the Office of Redress Administration will make up to 25,000 redress payments each fiscal year beginning in October 1990, starting with the birth year of the oldest and continuing in descending age order so the eldest will receive their payments first. Item from Misao Okada’s album.
Misao Okada’s scrapbook contains photographs, ephemera, notes, and correspondence documenting her time at Amache and a visit and reunion over 50 years later. The scrapbook also includes materials relating to reparations and events observing Japanese American incarceration.
