Description
The photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on June 9, 1970 states: "Occupation Ends - Another chapter appeared to be written in the Pit Indians' determined effort to establish an Indian nation as law enforcement officers yesterday escorted about 10 Indians and their supporters to a booking area at Camp Pit. The Indians were charged with trespassing. Another Indian picture and story on page A1."
