Description
Jeanne Jones discusses her book, “Jeanne Jones’ Food Lover’s Diet.” She begins by explaining that her diet is a plan which is high in complex carbohydrates and low in protein and fat. She talks about why herbs and spices are important for people on diets, and how using a mortal and pestle releases more flavor. She gives tips for how to have better skin including cutting out fat from your diet and drinking 8 glasses of water a day. She makes a yogurt dip from nonfat yogurt, dill, tarragon, and salt. She discusses her job making meal plans for spas and resorts. She ends the interview by advising what to do if you go out to dinner or to a party and are on a diet. Interview was recorded in 1982 but may have been broadcast in 1993.
