Description: Shown at the southwest corner of the intersection of Sixteenth and N streets, in this circa 1963 postcard, is the Capitol View Motel. Built in the 1950s, the motel, also known as the "Capitol Vu," offered carpeting, room patios, free morning coffee, soundproofing, air conditioning, and free indoor garage parking.
