Description
Ray Bradbury discusses his book, “The Stories of Ray Bradbury." In the first half of the interview, Bradbury explores the recurring elements of his stories such as death, dinosaurs, Halloween, and the age of twelve. He shares his experiences writing the screenplay, “Moby Dick” with director John Houston in Ireland, along with his friendship with animator, Chuck Jones which led to the making of the “Halloween Tree.” In the second half of the interview Bradbury shares his fear of flying and his love of public transportation, especially trains. The interview ends with a discussion of the Santa Barbara Writers’ Conference.
