Description
David begins the interview talking about how he became a science fiction writer. In particular, David talks about science fiction, like all good literature, needs to tell a good story, but science fiction has the ability to extend time and space and present a different perspective on current issues like genetic engineering. David also discusses his work on and ideas about space exploration, and its importance for and to humanity. Near the end of the interview, David briefly talks about his religion, Judaism, and its impact on his writing as well as the writing relationship he shares with his father.
