Photograph was edited for publication purposes John C. Austin designed the 1938 Art Deco style NBC radio facilities located at Sunset and Vine in Hollywood. It was replaced by a Home Savings & Loan bank in 1967. Photograph caption dated June 4, 1964 reads, "NBC studios on Sunset Boulevard, Hollywood, are being torn down to make way for new hotel and business complex. Built in 1937, the studio featured radio stars Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Amos 'n' Andy, Jack Benny, Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis, Fibber McGee and Molly, and other famous personalities."
