Description
Photograph of a view of Rimpau Street looking south from Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, ca. April 16, 1928. The last in a line of utility poles stands on the corner of the two streets like a cross, while an automobile makes its way down Rimpau to the left. Steps leading up a grassy hill are visible in from the sidewalk to the right. A second hill fills part of the curbside on the left side of the street, with no buildings beginning along the street until about half way down on either side. The tower of a gothic church can be seen in the distance to the left. Two small, corrugated domes are raised above the street's pavement.
