Description
Exterior view of the Sheenway School and Culture Center at 10101 So. Broadway, Los Angeles, on November 21, 1985. The school was built for a generation of children in Watts but faces a life-and-death struggle over taxes with Uncle Sam. A giant mural covers one wall, with a portrait of an African American man.
