Description
Robert W. Cort discusses his novel, “Action!” He begins by explaining that the book covers the years between 1948 and 1998 in Hollywood. He talks about how he did research for his book at the Library of the Motion Picture Academy. He describes that his book is about a young Jewish boy whose family has been in the Hollywood business for many generations until his father gets sued. Cort says he wanted to explore how the legal system affects Hollywood and the people who work in it. He ends the interview by talking about how he has produced many famous screenplays but wanted to write a novel for fun.
