Charles Howard's Seabiscuit, made the second choice in the Santa Anita future book, indicated there was some mistake on February 10, 1937, when Rosemont was made the favorite, by running away from his rival and four others to capture the Huntington Beach handicap. Rosemont never made a run for it and was only able to beat one horse in the field, King Kong. Seabiscuit just galloped in by four and one-half lengths over Sir Emerson. Time Supply just managed to land third money.
