Description
Dr. Ruth Heitfeld served as one of the first high level women administrators at SCC in 1947 until she retired in 1970. In 1956, she was named Sacramento's "Woman of the Year," partly for her involvement in community groups. Dr. Heitfeld provides insight into not only the history of SCC but also the history of Sacramento.
