Description
3-piece black matelasse ensemble. A: Bertha collar to drape over bodice. Raised black rippled silk fabric, edged in 1-3/4" black satin ruffle. Triangular shaped, point extending beyond shoulders. Front triangle comes to mid-bust, back to waist. Opening at neckline curved, w/ triangular points, center front & back at shoulders filled w/ damask of light green & cream metallic waves. Cream soft lace gathered collar. Hooks&eyes across right shoulder, 2 hooks inside at back waist (sash missing). B: Skirt:10 flared gores, box pleat at waist, woven band inside. C-Bodice tucks and ribbon trim, very fitted, band around neck. 1/4 beading across bust & cuffs. Straight sleeves.
