One of four people killed today in the crash of a truck-trailer at Los Palos street and East Olympic boulevard was young Alicia Traslavina, 11, pictured here riding a horse. Other fatalities included her mother Mrs. Librada Traslavina, 43, her brother Arturo Traslavina, 5, and family friend Mauro Baltherra, 45, who were all killed when they were struck by Edward L. Gannon's 70,000-pound truck in the East Los Angeles crosswalk. Gannon was arrested 6 hours after the accident and was eventually arraigned on four counts of manslaughter and one count of hit and run for leaving the scene without rendering aid or assistance.
