1 column, 23 lines, written on recto along the fibers. Four hands: 1st (lines 1-18. 22-23) small cursive; 2nd (line 18) signature of Chairemon in small cursive; 3rd (line 19) signature of Maron in small cursive; 4th (lines 20-21) signature of komogrammateus in regular cursive. Between lines 21 and 22 there is a blank of 4 cm. Margins: top, 1.7 cm.; left, 2 cm. On verso in black ink: "T 164" Verso otherwise empty. Chairemon and Maron inform Horos, village scribe of Tebtunis, of the death of a person (name lost in lacuna). The text is dated to the 31st year of the Emperor Commodus in the Egyptian month Choiak (between Nov. 27 and Dec. 26, 190 A.D.) In Greek.
