Image shows architect's sketch for Valmonte Plaza, a U-shaped, two-story building with a central clock tower flanked by loggia. Several figures and automobiles are visible in foreground. The drawing is inscribed at lower left, "OLMSTED BROTHERS - DIRECTORS OF DESIGN / CHARLES H. CHENEY - CONSULTANT IN CITY PLANNING", "VALMONTE" in the center, and at lower right, "MARSTON, VAN PELT & MAYBURY - ARCHITECTS", the well-known Pasadena architectural firm.
