View 4: "Power of Water" sculpture located in Lafayette Park. The top figure is that of a woman, measuring 10 ft x 3 ft x 6 ft 6 in, and symbolizing the power of water. The bas-relief panel below (not visible in this photo) depicts people of all ages in their struggle for water and measures 5 ft x 25 ft x 16 ft; both portions were cast in stone. Information provided with the image indicates that the sculpture was constructed as part of the WPA, and the artists were Henry Lion (visible on the lower left - wearing a white shirt, white pants, and black tie), Jason Herron (possibly on the upper left - wearing overalls) , and Sherry Peticolas (possibly on the upper right- wearing white pants and a beige shirt).
