Description
"Eine, mit Asche (schwarz) roter und weisser Erde kunstvoll bemalte Hütte im Kondeland." ("A hut in Kondeland artfully painted with black ashes, red and white earth."). A large thatched hut painted with geometric figures and animals. Behind the building a forest.
Ernst Hermann Schnabel (1904-1953) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa until the end of the 1930s. In 1934, he married Käthe Prellwitz in Kyimbila.
