Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Opened on June 10, 1938 by the Hollywood Turf Club, Hollywood Park was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park on March 13, 2012. It was a thoroughbred and standardbred race course. The racetrack was closed after the final race on December 22, 2013. Photograph caption date stamped June 18, 1964 reads "The scene shows the typical pre-race activities in the paddock area at Hollywood Park. Guards overlook the paddocks to protect the horses."
