Photograph caption date stamped May 22, 1964 reads "Susan Lance, 17-year-old Taft High School senior, finished second in Los Angeles city golf championship Thursday at Rancho Golf Course with a 54-hole total of 235. Sue is seeing [sic] teeing up ball as she started yesterday's round. Title was won by Mrs. Lew Gilliam of California Country Club."
