Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated May 26, 1964 reads "Parents line up to secure transfer applications to Madison Junior High School, North Hollywood, for their children. Seated are, left, Leon Sklar, principal, and Martin Wagner, the first parent to show up. Standing, as parent No. 2, is Sam Littman. Both Wagner and Littman reportedly arrived at the school at 4:30 a.m. yesterday to be sure of an application when the school doors opened at 8. They may be disappointed when they discover that only 30 parents applied."
