The Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival is held annually at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds, 2551 West Avenue H, in Lancaster, California. Photograph caption dated June 6, 1955 reads "Hundreds of shade trees dot the fairgrounds in Lancaster and this double row of Chinese elms provide cool shade during hot days of four day run of annual fair.
