Description
Photograph caption dated April 15, 1958 reads, "Charles A. Lewis, 46, of Newhall is en route to Macio, Brazil, a city of 100,000 off the Atlantic Coast, where he will be rig mechanic for Haney and Williams, an oil exploration company. Lewis, a native of Iowa, and a resident of San Fernando and Newhall the past 15 years, will be joined in Macio later by his wife, Norma, and two sons, Fred, 19 a student at Occidental College and James, 15, of Hart High School."
