Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated June 27, 1960 reads "Pierce Artran, left, 60, of Van Nuys, leads big-horned 'Mr. Magnifico,' French alpine goat, past his son, Evan, 12, who is milking Bambi, 8-year-old Toggenberg goat. Artran raises most of his own food at 15424 Cabrito St. (which means goat in Spanish) to insure food 'way nature intended it.'" The article partially reads "Artran, of 15424 Cabrito St., has transformed three-fourths of an acre into a residence, business and miniature farm where he produces all his meat, milk, butter, cheese, eggs and 'most of our fruits and vegetables' for a household of four."
