2012-1756.
George William Lenz was born in Crescent City in 1890. His father, Ben Lenz, was born in Germany; his mother, Dorothy Bray, in California. He worked in the oil fields in Kern County before enlisting in the 319th Engineers Co. during World War I. Upon his return, resumed working in the oil fields. Died in 1939.
