SERIES. Photo of Jos. Stanislaus Hertado (Hurtado?), arrested for the shooting murder of Jose Antonio Estuardo on Feb. 6, 1882. He was hanged on April 3, 1884. Photo includes handwritten biography of the prisoner. Other images include an 1882 list of arrests by named officers and a list of prisoners and their charges (includes two arrests of Hertado, for battery and murder).
