Photograph caption dated May 20, 1955 reads, "Lamp, left foreground, was blamed for sewer-ditch explosion at Gloria avenue and Moorpark street that injured two workers and rocked Sherman Oaks residential section. Treated for first and second degree burns at Valley Receiving Hospital are Ben Gennarlli, 62, of 10802 Huston St., North Hollywood, and Gino Coppello, 29, of Los Angeles."
