Photograph caption dated March 22, 1965 reads, "Cathy Ferguson, 16-year-old Burbank High student who won two gold medals at the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games, is one of stars entered in the National AAU Women's Swimming Championships, scheduled April 8-11 at the City of Commerce Aquatorium." Photograph article partially reads, "Cathy is currently preparing for the National AAU Indoor Women's Swimming and Diving Championships...She's the girl to beat in the backstroke."
