Sterling silver trowel with ivory handle. Engraved floral pattern around border, two coulmns and at tip center square, compass "G". Inscribed: Presented to the M.W. Clay Webster Taylor Grand Master Masons by the executive committee of Garfield Monument Association of the Pacific Coast on the laying of the conrerstone of teh Garfield Monument by the Grand Lodge F.&A.M. of California Golden Gate Park San Francisco on the 24th day of August A.L. 5883
