Photograph caption dated September 1, 1962 reads, "Baby, a blue-ribbon winning Afghan hound, has delivered the greatest prize of her life - a squealing brood of 13 little Afghan hounds. She presented the prize to her mate, Dominator, and her owners, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Gary, 4442 Vesper Ave., Sherman Oaks. The Garys stayed at Baby's side during the 16-hour birth period but Dominator slept - right through a record event: no other Afghan has produced more live puppies in the Western United States."
