Photograph caption dated March 3, 1965 reads "Sherman Oaks residents, Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy J. Steele, leave dance floor to join guests. Mrs. A. Richard Kimbrough is NCL Los Angeles chapter president, with Mrs. Bruce N. Redmond, chairman of the ball committee." The National Charity League held its annual ball at the Ambassador Hotel.
