Description
A small group of seventeen men dressed in military uniforms and civilian clothes march along as part of a much larger parade. Just passing Sixth Street on K circa 1924 the marchers pass large crow of spectators lining the street. Business signs clearly identify the downtown merchants of the day along the parade route, including the Capitol Theatre (615 K Street), C.J. Heeseman Clothing (619 K Street), Mrs. Anna Bernstein Millinery (621 K Street), Scotch Tailors (623 K Street), Golden Eagle Hotel (627 K Street), and Bon Marche Women's Clothes (631 K Street). Rows of automobiles are parked along the street, a few of which have parade watchers looking out.
