Description
Two ladies in the gazebo at Sulphur Spring, located at Lovell Avenue and Old Mill Street. Location is now covered by the Old Mill School playground. Photo taken in the late 1800s. According to the Mill Valley Historical Review of Spring 1984, the Sulphur Spring was discovered around 1891 and the gazebo built by 1895. Note on back of photograph reads: "See Jack Mason's Making of Marin re spring and business."
