Description
As part of a joint venture between the Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce, Frontier Telephone Company and the Sacramento Metro Chamber, "Elks on Parade" was launched in the summer of 2002 to earn money for charities and promote business for local merchants. Pictured at the corner of 12th and K Streets is the fiberglass "Fresh and Clean,&quot elk, sponsored by the California Dental Association. The elks were the work of sculptor Leroy K. Siebert.
