Description
Originally named Boulder Dam, it was renamed Hoover Dam in 1946. Shown here is a map from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Reclamation. It includes parts of Nevada, Arizona, California and Lower California (now Baja). It shows the Colorado River, the damsites, other waterways and railroad lines in and out of the area below Boulder Dam. Also shown are irrigated or irrigable areas.
