Pictured is an 1894 memento from the opening of Sacramento's Post Office and Federal Building, located at the northeast corner of Seventh and K streets. The card is made out to Sutter Grammar School teacher Katherine Winn. Winn went on to teach 31 years in Sacramento schools until her retirement in 1920.
