Description
A dark-haired young woman and blond-haired girl look at one another while walking in London fashions of 1809. The woman wears a long, white, unstructured dress with an Empire waistline and a long sleeved hooded pale blue spencer jacket tied at the neck with tasseled ties. The jacket is trimmed with bands of brown on the hood and bodice, She wears a of long necklace with a cross. A small purse or watch is pinned to her bodice with a dark red bow. She wears yellow gloves, yellow slippers, white stockings, and carries a light blue parasol trimmed with lace or knotted fringe. The woman has her arm around a young girl who wears a white Empire style dress slightly shorter then the woman's. She wears a yellow-trimmed pelisse coat with a ruffled scooped neckline. She wears a straw hat with up-turned brim, yellow gloves, yellow slippers, and a long, thin, yellow scarf with tasseled ends draped over all.
