Photograph caption dated February 24, 1955 reads, "This little fellow was one tired rhesus monkey when officer R. W. Thomas and Gordon Garver from Valley Animal Shelter finally cornered him in Grove back of 15739 Ventura Blvd. Stray monk had led frantic two-hour search through Sherman Oaks."
