Photograph caption dated December 1,1985 reads, "County divers near upside-down copter search crash site under the Vincent Thomas Bridge." Shown is the wreckage of one of the two helicopters that collided in mid-air during a landing maneuver at the Catalina Air and Sea Terminal in San Pedro. One passenger, Hossein Habibi of Glendale, was forced out of one of the copters and killed by a still-spinning rotor blade; 11 others were injured.
