Long Island native and Sacramento resident Bill Hughes participated in the Vietnam War as a member of the United States Marine Corps. From boot camp at Paris Island to the endless patrols as a squad leader throughout I Corps to becoming a scholar of Hemingway, London, and Dickenson, Hughes story is well worth following.
