Seabiscuit, on the outside, and Kayak II stretched their legs on January 29, 1940, in a workout between races for the public over the weekend at Santa Anita Racetrack. The 'Biscuit was scheduled to run Wednesday in actual competition. Although neither horse was pushed, Kayak II's performance captured the fancy of the public in the workout.
