Description
Photo caption published in the Sacramento Bee on June 22, 1973 states: "One year ago the Isleton elementary school was in water up to its eaves, left photo after the levee break that flooded the delta community. Today the school is dry again and cement is being poured for new facilities at the school. Petunias are sprouting wild, left below, among the cracks left when the water receded after inundating most of Andrus-Brannan Islands, right below (subject photo)."
