Description
This 1912 photograph shows the front of Sacramento High School, located on 1816 K Street. Although in existence since 1856, the pictured location opened in 1908, operating as the high school until its move to a more modern building at Thirty-Fourth and W Streets in 1924. The pictured Georgian-style structure then became Sutter Junior High School. It stood in that capacity until its razing in 1959.
