Fire and police investigators comb through rubble of what remains of a converted garage, located at 520 Main Street in Burbank, which was destroyed by an explosion. Fire officials said there was evidence that the garage had been converted into a living unit without a required city permit, and they suspect the garage had filled with gas from a pipe connected to the stove. The specific cause is still under investigation. Photograph dated March 20, 1985.
