Photograph caption dated June 21, 1951 reads, "This house at 1333 North Sparks street, Burbank, was a "total loss" today after a gas explosion ripped it apart last night. Joe Alcorer, 29, and wife had just bought it and planned to move in. Title had gone through escrow."
