Description
Opened on June 10, 1938 by the Hollywood Turf Club, Hollywood Park was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park on March 13, 2012. It was a thoroughbred and standardbred race course. The racetrack was closed after the final race on December 22, 2013.
Photograph caption dated May 10, 1963 reads "A turnout of 36,641 fans was on hand for the opening day program to bet $2,316,085 on nine races." Hollywood Park is in Inglewood.
