Photograph was edited for publication purposes Valley Times article dated October 21, 1960 partially reads, "An Encino housewife was convicted today of attempting to murder a Sherman Oaks doctor and shooting his nurse and was committed to the Patton State Mental Hospital as insane." She told police she left her husband for Dr. Gregory only to be 'treated like a dog.'
