Description
Plea for the U.S. government to amend its immigration policy to allow more refugees from Co=unist China to enter the country or to "establish an American owned island as a 'Freedom Island' where refugees are transported and re-habilitated." He argues that by turning back refugees from communism [in Hong Kong] we are giving aid and comfort to our enemy, which is defined as treason by the Constitution, and concludes: "There are two walls. One in Europe, one in Asia ... to keep prospective refugees from fleeing communism and entering freedom. The communist powers built one of the walls. The west has built the other. The same letter was sent to Senator Clair Engle and to Congressman James Roosevelt.
