In order to settle the Los Angeles Aqueduct conflict between Owens Valley residents and the City of Los Angeles, both sides are to submit position statements to the Los Angeles Clearinghouse Association. Article explains that the association, made up of bankers, will act as a third party to make judgments on the disagreement between the two groups. Additional story below article states that State Engineer W. F. McClure has recently returned from Inyo County and will report his investigation into the aqueduct conflict to Governor Friend William Richardson in Sacramento.
