Description
A postcard, "Chinese Opium Fiend," published by O. Newman, Los Angeles, 1906 March 08. The postcard depicts a Chinese man lying down with an opium pipe and tray beside him. The man is presumably in an opium den. An ink inscription is on the right side indicating the sender of the postcard visited several dens to observe. To Helen Beitzel, Mechanicsbug, Pennsylvania, USA, from "Clarence." The postcard includes a postage stamp and in in good condition with minor edge abrasion.
